300 Hour Teacher Training

Who Are the Lead Teachers?
The training is primarily led by Mona Godfrey and Christian Coelho, with a dedicated week of advanced anatomy taught by Matthew Huy. Please note that some aspects of the course are still being finalised, including faculty assignments for a few modules and the completion of Yoga Alliance registration for this 300-hour offering. We will keep you updated with all relevant details as they are confirmed.
Can I Attend If I'm Not a Yoga Teacher?
No. This course is designed for qualified yoga teachers from any lineage, school, or style. Active teaching is not required to enrol.
What Style of Yoga Is Focused on During the Training?
High Yoga emphasises vinyasa, rooted in hatha yoga and modern postural yoga traditions, with a focus on alignment, mindfulness, and the spiritual and philosophical roots of yoga. The 300-hour program covers advanced vinyasa techniques (asana, bandha, pranayama, mudra, kriya) and also explores yin, yoga nidra, and meditation.
What Certificate Will I Receive?
Upon completion, you will earn a 300-hour Advanced Vinyasa Yoga certificate.
Are Scholarships Available?
No. At this time, scholarships are offered only for the 200-hour training. Click here for more information.
Do I Need to Bring Yoga Equipment?
No, all props are provided. You may bring your own yoga mat if preferred.
Can I Attend the Course Online?
No, the training is primarily in-person in Indonesia. Online modules are available post-training.
Are Payment Plans Available?
Yes, payment plans are available once you pay the deposit. Full payment is required by February 2026. Click here for payment terms and conditions.
What’s the Difference Between the 200-Hour and 300-Hour Training?
The 300-hour training builds on the foundational concepts covered in the 200-hour training. The 200-hour course, held in London over three months, provides a comprehensive foundation for deepening practice and starting teaching. The immersive 300-hour training, held in Indonesia over 25 days, is for teachers seeking advanced knowledge and transformative experiences.
What Are the Visa Requirements?
British citizens need a visa to visit Indonesia. A 30-day visa on arrival costs 500,000 IDR (about £24.45). Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond entry and have two blank pages. Is Wi-Fi Available at the Venue?

What’s the Venue Like?
MaoMeno offers a serene space for training, with simple, elegant accommodations that respect the natural environment. Located five minutes from Gili Meno's beaches, MaoMeno provides an ideal setting for an immersive experience. Most accommodations are shared.
What Food Is Served?
Breakfast includes fruit salads, fresh juice, homemade muesli, eggs, multigrain toast, and spreads. Dinner is a vegetarian buffet. Water, herbal teas, and coffee are provided.
How Many Students Will Participate?
We expect 16-18 students in the Autumn 2025 cohort. The yoga shala accommodates up to 24 students.
Is the Course Yoga Alliance Registered?
Our application is under review by Yoga Alliance. Upon completion, you can fulfil requirements for advanced Yoga Alliance certification.
Will There Be Assignments During Training?
Yes, assignments will be given throughout the course. Upon successful completion and review, you will receive a certificate to register as an RYT500 with Yoga Alliance.
How Should I Prepare for the Training?
Once you pay the deposit, you will receive a list of recommended readings, videos, and tasks to prepare for the training.
How Do I Get to the Training Location?
MaoMeno is on Gili Meno, off Lombok's northwest coast. The nearest airport is Lombok International Airport. You can also fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali and take transportation to Padang Bai or Serangan Harbor for a fast boat to the island.
Is There Free Time During Training?
