“When it all gets to be too much, remember that being informed is not the same as being flooded. If we are genuinely working to build a better world in the face of overwhelming harm, we have the urgent and enduring responsibility to use the tools at our disposal to be grounded, to be well, and to be in community.”
Lily Zheng
In our fast paced world, we can often forget the importance of coming together in community, of sharing practices that support each other’s growth, and to be reigniting our commitment to our spiritual path. This 2 hour gathering is open to all practitioners and teachers who feel the calling to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga, and for those who would like to know more about High Yoga School and our upcoming trainings, both in London and in Indonesia. For our graduates, it’s an opportunity to be face to to face again, and we encourage you to stay and catch up after in the Arc Cafe.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED to The ARC Foodbank, which provides food packages to those in Islington (42.7% of children in Islington live in poverty) who can’t afford to buy food, giving people simple and nutritious food when they need it most. The boxes feature healthy essentials, with plenty of fresh produce, wholefood ingredients and store cupboard ingredients. They combine bulk orders of essentials with food donations from Food Bank AID, The Felix Project, City Harvest and other local partners.
By joining this gathering, you not only deepen your connection to your personal practice and our HYS community but it’s also an opportunity to practice selfless service and unity. Through your participation, you contribute directly to providing nourishment and support to those facing food insecurity in Islington. This is a meaningful way to practice seva (selfless giving), integrating clear action into your practice. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with waiting lists open for those eager to be part of circle.
